But a group of Georgia Tech students are about to have their lives shattered by an unexplainable event. On their road trip to the Yellow Jackets opening football game, a catastrophic accident occurs and Tech’s student bus plunges off a bridge into the lake below. But the bus doesn’t sink. Instead, it floats like a steel prison trapping a select group of students inside. The rest of the bus’s passengers are missing, even though no windows or doors on the bus have been breached. Attempts made by rescue teams to break inside or made by the students to break out are met by extreme natural elements that force them back.
A Chasm is evolving separating the bus from this present world. Although everyone on earth can still see the bus, it appears empty inside and first responders have not recovered any bodies from the lake. This floating bus becomes an international news story that enlists the world’s foremost scientific experts to solve its mystery. But the more science interferes, the more the Chasm shifts in unpredictable ways. Inside the bus a subconscious connection is birthed between the missing students and the world they left behind. Can they figure out how to save themselves and reconnect with their loved ones, or will this interference alter reality with consequences from a new world they no longer control?
